Friday! Hallelujah! 

It’s been a long-ish week for me, so I’m looking forward to a low key weekend. Plus, next week is Thanksgiving! I just love this time of year. Today I’m celebrating Thanksgiving at the nursing home with Mom, and she’s having Christmas pictures made. Our nursing home really goes all out for its residents. I’m very thankful to not only have Mom live here, but to also work here. Double blessings!

Until she comes around hunting chocolate.

Judson and I went down to Lucedale for their annual Praise in the Park and got to see Jeremy Camp and Love and the Outcome. Love them both – and Lucedale. I spent so much time there at my grandparents’ farm, it’s like a second home to me. Good memories!

On the work front, Lamar sponsored the annual Senior Olympic Games – and won for the 4th year in a row!

Undefeated, enough said.

Since I can’t show my residents, I’ll show you the crew that makes the magic happen. We were so tired by the time this photo was taken!

I sang the National Anthem again…

 

Speaking of singing… right after the Games I had a play. Every night.

George Washington decided to carry his act over one extra day and make rounds at the nursing home. The residents loved him.  Mom didn’t have a clue who he was, but she smiled for the picture anyway!

Master Chef contestant Katie Dixon spoke at our PRAM meeting this month. She was such a sweetheart!

 

 

And of course I couldn’t end a post without some Peanut love! Here we are getting our early morning snuggles in!

I saw this in TJ Maxx and absolutely would have bought it if it had been in his size. Like he needs another sweater. The chihuahua has as many tops as I do!

In his Snuggie and all settled down for the night!
