I love Jesus and I have a passion for ministry. My daily mission is simple: to love God and make his name known. I want you to love Jesus more each and every day, to see Him in your daily life and how He reveals Himself to you through His Word. Through humor, honesty, and a lot of real life, I help women live out their faith and dive deeper in their understanding of God’s Word.

I believe that no matter where you are, God has a plan for you.

 

So here’s the rest of the story… I was supposed to be an astronaut. I know every child dreams of wanting to be an astronaut, but I really wanted to be an astronaut. I went to Space Camp five times, poured through books on the history of rocketry, and even majored in aerospace engineering. My plan was to be an astronaut. Yep, seriously. But God… I’m sure He got a big laugh out of my dreams while He prepared me for the person I was to become. He taught me how to dream big. And then God made His dreams my own.  I now write, speak, and sing all for His glory. I am also a lover of travel, fashion, sarcasm, and books. I’m so thrilled you stopped by my happy corner of the internet! Here I share inspiration for everyday living, adventures, reads, and much more. My life is an adventure and while it isn’t perfect, I choose happiness every day. 

 

I was once married to the funniest guy I know. Only Judson Bounds could get this city girl to live on hundreds of acres of farmland in rural Mississippi. Judson went home to be with Jesus in 2023 after a faithful battle with esophageal cancer.
I am also the proud mom of two wildly enthusiastic boys, Liam (7) and Judson (1.5), who both seem to have inherited my spirit! I have wanted to be a mom since forever, and my sons are more than I could ever have asked for or imagined. God has a way of doing that, doesn’t He? I also have seven dogs and four cats and would love to add more to that number!
