Fall in the Smoky Mountains Part 2
Hey, friends! Thank you for stopping by today. With spring break around the corner, many of you are traveling and even considering summer and fall travel. I decided it was time I share part 2 of our Fall in the Smokies. Eastern Tennessee is a great place to spend your fall!
I shared Part 1 of our trip here, so look back on that post for more inspiration!
Dollywood in Pigeon Forge is an absolute must. It is such a clean and friendly park. And the cinnamon bread alone is worth going for!
Pumpkin farmers all across the US try to win the title of Dolly’s largest pumpkin.
Next up was Ober Gatlinburg. Liam and I love Ober. He first ice skated there at four, so it’s a special memory every time he hits the ice. He’s quite natural! We couldn’t get MawMaw out there, so Liam and I enjoyed a few moments on the rink.
Our favorite place to eat is the Apple Barn for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Since we were close, we decided to branch out a little further into Asheville, North Carolina and visit the Biltmore. I assure you Liam could not have cared less about this bonus stop, but he persevered for his mom and grandmother. And it stormed the whole time.
Th Christmas decorations at Biltmore are spectacular and in every room. I’ll spare you photo overload!
A Smoky Mountain adventure is a great trip any of time of the year as seasonal activities offer something awesome year round.
