Friday Favorites!
Welcome to the first Friday Favorites of 2016!
On Fridays I link up with three of my favorite bloggers Andrea, Erika and Narci for their weekly Friday Favorites link party. All three are from Texas, and although I’ve never met them in person, I feel like I’ve known them forever through their blogs. Gotta love the internet!
Today’s favorites will take us through the last week of Christmas and New Year’s when I was taking a bloggy break. You can never get enough holidays, so hopefully you will bear with me through this last little bit!
Mom had a blast as usual at her resident Christmas Party at the nursing home.
After the party I took a few residents to the living room and played Christmas carols for them.
The Lighthouse Rescue Mission is an amazing ministry in the Hattiesburg, MS area and I’m so proud to serve on their advisory board. This was our first meeting to plan 2016. This year you will see some big changes from and expansion in the building to an expansion in the number of children and their mothers we will serve!

Peanut dressed up as Santa Paws and visited the nursing home for pet therapy afternoon!
And then he stopped by to see Uncle T at the hardware store.
(Update – Thomas still works full time as Director for the local WDAM Channel 7 news. He just works at Ace part time doing some IT work for them.)
I found the cutest little puppy with the biggest eyeballs I’d ever seen!

On Christmas Day, Little Man was dressed in his best, and we went to see my mom at the nursing home.
