Friday Favorites 8.11.23
Happy Friday! This wraps up the first full week of school for friends in my area. I’ve loved seeing everyone’s first day of school and meet the teacher posts. I decided not to enroll Liam in a K4 program this year. We have a ton of adventures planned for our own version of home education, and he has several books for writing letters and other preschool activities. He even read his first word this week – “LITTLE”. I will not be homeschooling him in the future, but if he’s home, he might as well be learning. We just need each other right now.
I also wanted to let you know that I have spent a lot of time preparing some posts for you in the coming days and weeks. I have always loved my blog. It has been a great photo journal of sorts to remember some of the bigger and smaller days in the life. I think I need this outlet now more than ever, so I have lots of fun posts and content headed your way. I do hope you’ll come back and read!
On Fridays I link up with Erika and Andrea – two bloggers that I love and have followed for nearly a decade – to share a few favorites from the week, so let’s dive in!
The park in my dad’s town is terrific, so we try to stop by as often as we can. But man has it been hot lately! We can only stay for a few minutes before we start to melt. I am so ready for fall!
These 100-degree days call for lots of sprinkler time!
I have now bought two of these giant rope baskets to contain Liam’s massive toy piles. I love how lightweight they are despite their size. They are definitely worthy of my favorites this week.
Earlier this week I shared 7 Things I Use Every Day. Do you have your tried-and-true favorites that you use every day too? I’d love to hear about some of them – just leave a note in the comments!
Yesterday I shared a look at our Life Lately. You can see we have not slowed down one bit!
Alright, I am out! I hope you all have a great weekend, and I will see you back here on Monday!
