How We Wednesday – Fall Edition
Happy Wednesday, Friends!
I’m in the thick of it this week with work, school, appointments, and just planning for Baby Bounds in general. I always enjoy this blog to give me a break from the rest of the chaos called life! I feel like if you read my blog regularly we are already friends, and just catching up with you guys makes me feel more relaxed.
On the second Wednesday of the month we link up with Shay and Erika for How We Wednesdays. Here we share how we do whatever the month’s topic may be, and October is all about meal planning.
I’ll be honest with you…my meal planning consists of taking screenshots of recipes on Pinterest that I want to try, buy the groceries, and cook them. It’s not that interesting or organized. When you have a three hour commute each day, you’re lucky to just sit down and eat a frozen pizza with your husband!
That being said, I figured today I would share How We do something I LOVE… FALL.
This is so me in August. I hate humidity, being hot, mosquitoes, and anything else that screams summer in Mississippi. Don’t get me wrong, I love Mississippi, just none of those things mentioned above! I love cold weather, cold weather clothes, hot tea, the smells, and PUMPKINS!
Tell me this isn’t cuter than shorts and flip flops. I dare you!
Speaking of pumpkins, no FALL is ever complete without a trip to the pumpkin patch!

There are so many fun things to do this time of year. Like concerts in the park…
And the fair! (Which I’m going to this year just to eat since I can’t ride anything. Judson is relieved…amateur!)
I also enjoy spending this time of year with Mom at her parties and events. I never know when it will be our last holiday together, so I go to them all. She’s a hoot!
You can’t live in a lodge and not have a fire going…
And you can’t FALL without pumpkin carving!
I adore getting the house ready for FALL. I usually start in August to have enough time to enjoy it because I want that Christmas tree up in early November to enjoy it too!
(You can see my FALL Home Tour here.)
FALL is also a great time to have friends over. Fallelujia Night, anyone?!
(You can see my Fallelujia Night recap here.)
And no FALL is complete without Oktoberfest – brats, beer, and a moose?
So tell me, how do you and your family FALL?
