January Beauty Review!
There is just something about a fresh, glowing face that excites me!
I have tried dozens of products over the years, and I have yet to find the “perfect” anything. That being said, here are my latest beauty buys!

I really liked the feel and the way the Sheer Transformation blended well under foundation. I’m not sure I will leave my Aloette moisturizer for this, but it was a good product.
I love my Temptu!
I’ve had a Temptu system for a couple of years now. The refill pods are close to the same price as a bottle of liquid foundation, so it’s not that expensive once you’ve bought the airbrush machine. It has great, long-lasting coverage, but you need to know how to apply it. I really liked this video by Michelle Money from season 15 of The Bachelor:
The shade I’m currently using is actually not the lightest shade they have!
What are your thoughts?
Another item I’ve recently tried was the Urban Decay Ultra Definition Pressed Finishing Powder.

It was awful. I looked like I had chalk dust from my third grade teacher’s black board all over my face. It was dusty and didn’t blend well at all. Has anyone else tried this one?
I’m always on the prowl for the “perfect” mascara. For some reason, I’ve found the higher the price tag, the worse the product! I was not a fan of the Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara. It was clumpy and took forever to dry. Every time I blinked it would be under my eyes.
Just for grins – My first experience with eye liner and mascara circa 1987!
So far Maybelline’s “The Falsies” is still my favorite!
