Landrum’s Homestead and Village
Hey friends!
September is rolling right along. I hope you are enjoying incorporating something Fall O’Fun in your world. Liam and I went on an adventure over the weekend to Landrum’s Homestead and Village in Laurel, MS. The village includes buildings and exhibits that depict life and daily activity of the 1800s. It has a variety of inspiration, education, and fun!
Liam particularly enjoyed the wagon ride, fresh buttermilk biscuits, the farm animals, and the blacksmith shop. Here’s a fun look at our day…
He had way too much to see and do to look at camera.
I would have put him behind bars, but he was too short.
Landrum’s is also known for their fresh, homemade ice cream – we enjoyed the chocolate!
The face we make when the ice cream is gone!
Ready for our wagon ride! (Is it just me, or does he look WAY older than 18 months here?)
We took pictures of the old timey tractors for Daddy to see.
We didn’t look in the outhouse…
Liam thought the fire tower should have been an excursion to climb…
Taking it all in!
Someone wanted to help fill the feeder…wonder where he got that? #grandmama and #pop
That was one narcissistic turkey. He kept checking himself out in the mirror!
We loved watching the blacksmith work.
And an old water wheel kept things powered!
