Easter 2022 Recap
Happy Wednesday, friends! I hope you’re all having a fabulous week so far. We are still in recovery mode from our weekend at the US Space and Rocket Center + chemo, so I am playing catch up. Today I am sharing with you a slightly tardy, but ever so cute, Easter recap!
Liam and I took a weekend road trip to North Mississippi to see my mom’s side of the family. He was ready to go. He’s such a good traveler!
We stopped at Mississippi State University to see Mom’s dedication at the Baptist Student Union. She was the president there in the mid-70s and her photo is on the wall in multiple locations. She also has a brick out front. When she passed away, we directed all of her memoriums to the BSU.
My sweet mom loved her time at MSU. She was also the president of her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega.
After our detour to Starkville, Liam and I headed to Tupelo to spend some quality time with his great-uncle Greg! Or as he says it, Uncle Gweg.
I have a HUGE family – on both sides. And we love to get together! There were probably 40 something of us.
It stormed all Easter weekend, so we got creative with our egg hunt.
And on Easter Sunday morning, the Easter bunny found us all the way in Pontotoc!
After services with our family, we went to another family member’s house for egg hunt #2 – also creative. This one was indoors and in the garage.
Since Judson wasn’t able to travel with us, we held our personal Easter on Palm Sunday and celebrated the true meaning of the season!
