Friday Favorites – 5.28.21

Happy Friday, friends! We are in full summer mode at the Bounds home and are spending lots of time outdoors. Liam is a big fan of anything water, so he stays in his water table and sandbox most of the time. His daddy bought him a tricycle this week, so we have another activity he can’t get enough of!

As always, on Fridays I link up with Erika and Andrea where we share all of our favorites from the week. Let’s get started!

It’s just my animals’ world, and I live in it. They are spoiled, needy, and clingy, and I love them for it!

Smudge is my least likely cat to be affectionate or want to spend time with you. He would rather be up a tree or chasing mice. But lately this little fella has wanted to spend time with his mama.

And of course Miss Ellie is a drama queen!

Jackson is healing well after his heart worm procedure. He’s getting very restless and needs to be back outside 24/7. He does not like being cooped up inside with a rowdy toddler. Shepherds are definitely outside dogs.

 

 

Our love for animals goes beyond dogs and cats! Liam and I had a blast playing with traveling farm animals. You’ll see more next week on this month’s Life with Liam.

Judson’s best friend had his annual crawfish boil. He always does the best job! Jud tried to show Liam what a live crawfish was like, but my little man took off. #nothankyousir

I did get Liam to eat a crawfish, and he basically wiped his tongue off on my shirt. Didn’t care for the spicy!

I finally walked for my graduation at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary! I finished my coursework last spring, but guess what took place the same day as graduation – Mom’s funeral. Fast forward one year, and here we are!

I’m not sure what was harder/a greater miracle – me graduating with my Master’s in Theology from a Seminary or my dad going to New Orleans!

He’s so handsome!

I sang in church, and someone wanted to practice with me. He sang his heart out in that mic too! It was so stinkin precious!

Little Man and I have the best adventures!

And we are loving our summer days on the creek!
