How to Think Bigger This Year


I have BIG plans for my life – and they include God’s plan for me. Do you know how to dream big and create a life you love? Today I am sharing 3 practical ways you can think and dream bigger.

If you could do anything, what would you do?

Could this really be possible? Between kids, husbands, work, and endless other activities, it seems almost frivolous to dream about what you want to do with this life.

What if I told you those dreams are closer than you realize? What if this year is THE year?

You should be excited and a little fearful to dream big dreams. That shows how deeply your desires are in line with your heart. Let’s begin chipping away at these dreams and take action that leads to results.

THINK BIGGER THIS YEAR

I want to challenge you to think bigger this year and develop and actionable plan that works with your strengths to accomplish those goals.

WHAT DO YOU WANT IN YOUR LIFE

Set aside anywhere between 30-60 minutes to make a list of all the things you want to do/see/be in life.

Now, keep going. Write down even bigger, more audacious goals. You know, the ones you feel a little afraid to write because they seem ridiculous. They’re not! They’re big dreams, and they deserve a space on the list.

Let’s take a look at what you’ve written down.

Place an * by any goal that resembles a task or project. We will put them in a “to-do and project category”. Note, we often include these because we feel more confident in our abilities to accomplish them.

Place a # by the goals that need assistance from someone else to accomplish. It’s okay to recognize we can’t do these alone.

Now, highlight the biggest goals that light you up on the inside. These are the goals we’re shooting for, the ones that make your stomach clench and breath stop.

Categorizing our goals by zones helps us realize how they are intrinsically attached to our physical and emotional state. This may be why it’s so difficult to take action.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT GOALS TO START WITH

Choose one goal from each list to work on. Choose goals that would significantly impact your life and the lives of those you love.

Focus on actionable steps you can take each day to get closer to your goal.

You’re not just going through the motions; you are in changing your life! Creating the life you love by thinking big this year!
