Natural Science Museum

Last month Liam and I had the opportunity to visit the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science with some of our adventure buddies. I had not been since the late 80s/early 90s, so it was basically a brand new experince for me. Liam wasn’t sure what to think about some of those big animals at first, but he warmed up and enjoyed himself after awhile.

I would have shared this earlier, but with my site under maintenance last month, I am only now able to share. Needles to say, this was before Liam’s big boy haircut.

I can’t say it enough, Liam is such a good traveler and adventurer. I love all the opportunities he and I have to get out and exlore things together!

The look of someone not too comfortable with what’s behind him.

He always enjoys a good aquarium.

Look at that one brave turtle with all those aligators!

Yep, this is what it looks like – a live two-headed snake. Both heads eat. Creepy.

(I hate snakes.)

There is also a small nature trail outside for anyone to walk around, but it’s great for kiddos to burn off some energy.

After the nature trail we ventured back inside to the preschool area. There was a treehouse, slide, puppet show area, and lots more.

Liam is a big fan of going up slides…

Always a good time with my little buddy!

I know I gush over him all the time, but I waited a long time to be a mommy. I just love doing things with Baby Bounds and getting to experience things through his eyes. I’m truly blessed to call Liam mine.

There are more museums in Mississippi than I thought. We have a lot to see through the years. He’s always so well behaved that I will continue to take advantage of every opportunity that we can. I’m also glad we have a fun adventuring family that likes to field trip with us!
