Fears, Failures, and Fall: Life Lately
There’s no way to pretend that life this side of heaven isn’t difficult. Life can be hard, and we long for everlasting peace. Peace has been elusive and unattainable lately.
The good news is that it really isn’t. When I am longing for peace, I am actually longing for Christ. He doesn’t just give us peace; He gives us Himself. He is Peace. He doesn’t just give us hope; He is Hope. He doesn’t just give us joy; He is Joy.
So, if you’re short on peace today too, look no further than Christ Himself.
Here’s a little look at life lately…
I found myself operating a dozer again. My father in law occasionally needs someone to climb up and do a few things while he works on the mechanics, and I happened to be in the wrong place at the right time for him!
Miss Ellie has given us quite a scare lately. She disappeared for four days. Now we don’t let her out of our sight!
Liam loves his Abigail!
Liam placed his “12 stones” of remembrance – aka built his Ebeneezer – one Sunday at my inlaws’ church. I thought it was cute!
Fallelujia was another fun night! For deeper recaps of Fallelujia night, you can click here.
I finally got to see my Sam! Speaking of, I need to return that dish, don’t I?
Abigail came too!
Watching the presents get unwrapped and silently wondering who you were going to steal from…
I opened the Newton Studio of Music in August, and my mother in law sent flowers for the Grand Opening!
And my handsome hubby was ordained as a deacon at FBC!

It feels great to be back here on the blog. I’ve missed sharing with everyone as much as I used to. Cancer and family obligations have really taken over – as they should – but I do have some fun posts to share with you, starting tomorrow with a Halloween Recap! See you then!
