Friday Favorites {4.26.19}

Happy Friday, everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed your post-holiday week. Did you have Monday off? I didn’t. My boss (Baby Bounds!) doesn’t allow me much time off these days – grin! I’m soaking it up and enjoying every minute I can with him. Ten weeks has flown by. He’s smiling and cooing now, and I’m over here melting. Whatever Liam wants, Liam gets!

In traditional Friday form, we are linking up with Erika, Narci, and Andrea for Friday Favorites where we highlight all the fun favorites of the week. Let’s get started!

We finally introduced Liam to Mom! We waited till after he received all his vaccinations to take him to the nursing home. Even then we only took him as far as the living room and brought Mom up to the front. I was a little worried that all the residents would want to see him and touch him. That’s very sweet of course. I know they care about me from working there for three years and Mom living there over eight years, but I won’t risk it. He’s still too little.

And as you can tell, neither one of them seem too sure of the other. We took a sweet video though. I know in any other circumstance she would adore him. She always loved babies. She understood that he was her grandson, and she remembered his name was Liam James.

Too bad she can’t say the same about Judson. He still has no name. He’s simply “that farmer”! Apparently he’s not important enough to remember, bless his heart. Ha!

And while we are talking about Mom, here are a couple of pictures from her Easter party. Sorry about the lighting. It was bright in front of those doors.

I’ve missed the last few holiday parties being out with a newborn, but I try to go to as many as I can. You never know when it’s the last holiday with her.

Several of you have asked about how Peanut is doing having to share the center of attention…

Well, see for yourself!

They are the best of friends! Literally, wherever Liam goes, Peanut goes!

Do you see Liam’s overalls? Those were handmade for my dad in 1951. Papa John wore them, and my brother wore them in the late 80s. Now, the third generation has worn them. So sweet!

Pssstttt! Did you catch Wednesday’s post? I shared about all that’s going on in our lives lately. Be sure to check it out here!

And I shared our Easter weekend here!
