Friday Favorites {7.10.20}

friday favorites new

Another week seems to have come and gone. I have a hard time distinguishing days, weeks, and months now. Without work, it’s all Liam and and the 7 pets all the time. I’m not complaining, but it does seem like life is just passing by these days with little to show for it. Perhaps God knew I needed to slow down and simply be.

Since it is Friday (I just checked again!), we’re linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites where we share a few favorites of late. Let’s get started!

Liam and I went in search of adventures one day and found ourselves at this little playground north of Meridian. Unfortunately, it was a little too hot to truly enjoy it. There was no shade except under the pavillion which was too far away for me to watch Liam safely. He didn’t have the best time either. However, this playground is really nice, and we look forward to going back when it’s cooler.

At least I got one smile!

We also went up to Lake Enid for the annual Long Family Reunion. We soaked up lots of extra family time and fun.

He walked a long time on his leash, but his daddy ended up carrying him the whole way back.

I just love this boy so much!

Well, I love all my boys so much!

We ended the trip with Liam’s first boat ride. So much fun!

We celebrated a VERY rainy Independence Day. The firework show was cancelled, so we had my dad up for the day and went to the Boundses for sparklers that evening.

Such a sweet look of innocence!

Someone was a little hyper at bedtime, so I decided to keep him busy – with a collander and pipe cleaners. Once I showed him how to insert them and pull them out, it kept him busy for about 20 seconds… Sigh!

Our friend’s dog had puppies, and Liam loves baby animals!
