Halloween Recap
Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a relaxing Fall weekend. My dad and brother came up and helped us haul out the holly and put up the tree! I like to enjoy my Christmas decorations for more than a few weeks, so I get started early. We will still celebrate Thanksgiving though. Some of you may be die-hard adherents to the decorating after Thanksgiving philosophy, but this is what we prefer at the Bounds home.
Before we get started with Christmas season festivities, I wanted to recap Liam’s Halloween fun. Even though Judson and I were in Texas for treatment and missed most of it, friends and family stepped up to give him lots of fun – and candy!
The local Methodist church always has a fun Trunk or Treat, but this year there was a ROCKET SHIP BOOTH! This made Liam’s night – he thought it was all about him as an astronaut! Just look at that smile! Thanks for taking him, MawMaw!
Our best couple friends (well, Suzanne anyway!) took Liam to the big Treat Street at East Central Community College. Liam had a lot of fun and got quite the candy haul. He also got to hang out with “Zoo-Anne”‘s nieces and nephews like he was one of the family.
This is Zoo-Anne!
My friends in the Junior Auxiliary also gave him some love.
Mommy’s home! My Sunday School class does a hayride for our kids to trick or treat around the community on Halloween night. I loved hanging out with my little buddy. He was even well-behaved for the most part!
I love this kiddo so much!
We wrapped up Halloween week with our church’s Trunk or Treat!
That’s my pastor, folks! He’s Jonah in the whale. I thought that was so creative!
Liam got to decorate a pumpkin cookie…
…and climb on a fire truck!
He played Jenga…
…and even Daddy joined us for this one!
Liam was able to visit two pumpkin patches this year. We recapped one, and the other recap will be posted tomorrow.
We also enjoyed our annual “Thankful for Boo” dinner and spooky smorgasboard.
And this is what Daddy and I look like after carving pumpkins with a Weasel!

We had a great Halloween season! I hope you all enjoyed the festivities too!
