It has been far too long since I logged on here. I miss the little interactions that this blog brings. Although we aren’t able to meet face to face, I feel like so many of my readers are now friends. That’s what this social community is for after all!

Thank you for letting me take this three month blogging break. Baby Bounds arrived on Valentine’s Day, a few weeks earlier than scheduled. He was growing a lot larger than expected, and I had some blood pressure issues that could not be ingnored. I went on bed rest for three weeks, and then I went in for an induction a little over three weeks before my due date. He has been the biggest blessing – such a Mama’s Boy! I will be sharing a little more about the delivery soon so stay tuned.
I wanted to share with you a few updates about life in general and for the blog. Let’s start with the blog…
I have some great content scheduled for the upcoming weeks. There will be more lifestyle posts (including all things baby and nursery). returns of old favorites like Just Me, JC and What’s Up Wednesday. And of course books! However, I will be sharing more ministry related posts – particularly in women’s and children’s ministry. I also want to talk with y’all about missions work!
As for life in general, I am now a stay-at-home mom! I am thrilled to be home with Baby Bounds (and you know Peanut is happy!). I am so blessed that Judson works so hard to allow me this opportunity. I’ve taken this semester off from Seminary as well. I had no idea when the baby would arrive, and I just knew I wouldn’t be able to give to my studies what I would need to. With only five classes left, I will prevail!
