Say “I Love You” With These Easy Valentine’s Crafts for Toddlers
If you’ve ever handed a toddler some finger paint, a sheet of paper and watched him go wild make a mess have fun, then you know the endless amount of fun crafts can bring. Art activities get little minds going in more ways than one. As a toddler’s tiny hands experiment with different crafts, he won’t just be entertained — he’s flexing important developmental skills, exploring his imagination, and gaining a sense of independence by creating something of his very own.
Today I wanted to share a quick and fun Valentine’s Day craft you can easily do with your kiddos – even toddlers! I picked up a pack of felt doily hearts at the Dollar Tree for only $1.00 for 12 hearts. I had an idea to create a fun Valentine’s garland that would also be a great coordination activity for Liam. Check it out below!
This red + white string was 50% off at Hobby Lobby, another lucky find!
I let Liam help me string the hearts together, and then we hung them up on the window blinds.
Easy peasy!
I always enjoy finding simple activities to stimulate Liam that allow us to make sweet memories together.
Another Dollar Tree find was this heart-shaped stone with decorative detailing.
With a little water-based paint, Liam turned it into a pretty decoration!
He hardly made a mess at all and had the best time!

Again, this was an easy and inexpensive way to stimulate Liam’s crafty side and allowed us to spend some sweet time together. I hope this encourages you to craft with your littles too!
