Fall in New England – Maine and New Hampshire

Hey, friends! Welcome back. Today I am sharing Part 3 of our Fall in New England Road Trip. I know I said this a zillion times in part 1 and part 2, but this was seriously the BEST trip!

We have left Vermont and again I made a purposeful arc up and around instead of straight across the state line. Why? Because we wanted to see Maine!

Welcome to Portland!

I booked us a little tour on a vintage firetruck. It drove all around Portland including a drive by of all the fantastic lighthouses.

We stopped for lunch, and I had another lobster roll. Because, when in Maine…! Our next stop was Portsmouth, New Hampshire!

We headed out to do some walking and sightseeing…

And the following morning we went to StoryLand in Glen, NH.

It was a cute little amusement park. Everything was based on nursery rhymes and old childhood stories.

But by that night, someone was finally feeling the effects of a week on the road!

We turned it in early that night because we had to get up at 3:30 am to get back to Boston, turn in the car, and catch our plane to MS!

I am so thankful I took the plunge and made this trip happen for Liam and me. Most people in the South never even think about going to New England, but it is absolutely worth every moment. And as you can see, completely doable in one week – with a four year old.

I love, LOVE traveling, and I would LOVE to help you plan a vacation. I can assist you with domestic and international travel, Disney, all-inclusive resorts, cruises, and more. I will put together custom-made packages designed for your budget, adventure, and activity level. Please reach out to me at jeanclaire@ggluxurytravel.com for more information.

Hang tight because Liam and I only took two weeks off before our next adventure to…

STAY TUNED!
