What’s Up Wednesday – September 2020

How is this week already half over? I feel like it only just began! Maybe it’s because I am busier than ever enjoying being outside with Liam and the dogs and celebrating the changing season.

For those of you just tuning in, on the last Wednesday of the month I link up with Sheaffer and Shay for What’s Up Wednesday. It’s a little this and that of what we’ve been up to during the month. Let’s get started!

WHAT WE’RE EATING…

In September I am all about the apples and pumpkins, anything fall!

This is a Dutch Apple Bread. I tweaked the recipe just a hair, so I really can’t share what I did! It is one of the best baked goods I’ve ever made though!

Pumpkin drop cookies…

My dad’s special recipe for pumpkin bread…

My little helper is quite handy in the kitchen!

If you missed my post about baking with Liam, you can find it here.

WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT…

My Fallelujia Night this past weekend was so much fun! You can find the recap here.

WHAT I’M LOVING…

I am loving these cooler mornings to get outside with Liam – even if he just lays on the porch like the dogs!

Or locks himself in a kennel…

Or takes the corn off my decor and shucks it…

Or basically lets them eat an entire box of milk bones!

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO…

We’ve been doing a lot of playing…

And gone on nature walks with Grandmama…

I love this boy so much!

We love to picnic…

And our Fall O’Fun adventures are going strong at Landrum’s

And at McClain Safari.

WHAT I’M DREADING…

I don’t guess I’m dreading anything at the moment. I’m even looking foward to a little bladder procedure I have coming up for some relief. Gotta love autoimmune diseases…

WHAT I’M WORKING ON…

I’m trying to decide what Baby Bounds should wear for Halloween this year.I have an idea, but do you have any suggestions?

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT…

This sweet guy has a birthday tomorrow!

And we have so many more Fall O’Fun days ahead!

We have family fun days and two pumpkin patches to visit…

And all the fun my poor family can stand!

WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING…

Watch Katuri | Prime Video

Want to know what I’m watching? This. All day every day. Sigh.

I have been reading some really good books though. You can find my September book review here.

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO…

Um, Liam screaming? He HATES bedtime!

WHAT I’M WEARING…

I’m having a moment with fun graphic tees.

Shop Jane

Jane is my favorite place to shop for cute graphic tees, basics, and one of a kind boutique pieces. I’ll post my most recent orders soon. Just click the pic to take a look at their selection!

Topstype Women's Short Sleeve T Shirt V Neck Tunic Criss Cross Tops Casual Tees Loose Sweatshirts

I’ve also purchased this in two different colors. I’m looking for some cute transitional tees. Will do a try on soon!

WHAT ELSE IS NEW…

I have had a few friends reach out and ask how Molly is doing after her big surgery. (You can read more about that devastating news here.) Well, she’s doing great! You would never ever know she has gone through so much trauma. She jumps on you, walks for miles every day, and runs like a greyhound. She’s a beast!

Molly is now nine months old and still all puppy. She’s a 47 lb handful. We have no idea what she is, but she is most likely a black mouth cur. She sounds like a bloodhound barking at 4;00 a.m. Who needs a rooster when they have a puppy? The reason you rarely see her on my blog or social media is because I can rarely capture a picture of her. They’re always a blur of her running or jumping! She may look a little bony in the middle in the picture above, but I promise you, she EATS.

Mol destroyed three beds in a row, so Judson won’t let her have another one yet. Bless her heart, she dragged that uncomfortable straw rug over to sleep on. You can also see her scar from her worst surgery in this picture. That’s her fake hip and metal rod femur. She has no pain though, and she can RUN! So quickly. We are so blessed to have amazing veterinary surgeons at Mississippi State University.

In other news, she was finally spayed on Monday. That surgery kept getting postponed because of her other two. Spay and neuter, friends!
