Liam is One!

Happy Birthday, Liam!

This year has flown by. I mean really fast. But boy did some of those days drag! I’m sure all of you mamas out there know exactly what I mean.

“The days are long, but the years are short.”

We were able to celebrate Liam turning “The Big One” with an “O-fishally One” party. His grandparents and a couple of aunts/uncles joined in the fun, but now we are inviting you to take a look too!

I used gummy worms for bait, lifesavers for safety, pretzel rods for fishing rods, and of course no party is complete without goldfish, the fresh catch of the day.

The present table! My dad went all out on his wrapping job as you can see – paper sacks.

He wasn’t into the whole “smash cake” thing, but he enjoyed eating it!

Pop handmade Liam a bunch of toys. That big box is a tackle box, and he made a working rod and reel complete with magnets to catch wooden fish with (the colored pieces are fish).
