friday favorites new

Hello, Friday!

Tis the life of a toddler mom! Actually, we are quite looking forward to the weekend. We have Pop an Uncle T coming up to join us celebrating the fourth, dinner with friends, and a community firework show. Liam is at the age where he is enamored with fireworks, and I get all teary-eyed watching him take it all in. So special!

As always, on Fridays we link up with Erika and Andrea to share our Friday Favorites!

Summer is in full swing at the Bounds home! Liam took his first year of swimming lessons and had the best time. He loves water and has no fear, so lessons were a necessity. He loved his teacher!

Look at my 2 year old on the bottom of the pool!

A medal and a sucker – he’s a winner!

My kid is so much cooler than me! Those swimming lessons are paying off. We’ve been to the pool several times.

Baby model in the making!

Liam has been begging to go to the beach. He sees it in his Cocomelon videos. When I asked him what he was doing in this picture, he said it was the “beach”. Sigh. Grits. We took him to the beach for the first time back in January just to put his toes in the sand, but obviously that’s not a true beach experience. So… Uncle T and I decided to take a day trip down to the Gulf Coast to visit the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center (children’s museum) and to go to the beach!

I will recap the children’s museum another time, but he had a blast!

Then it was off to the sand. The MS water is kinda nasty, so we didn’t “swim”.

I think we were there 30 minutes when he got sand in his eyes. Then it was time to go!

We had another fun adventure present itself – a live reptile show!

Gave me the heeby jeebies. I can’t stand snakes.

The things we do for our little boys!

Liam had a blast at his very first Vacation Bible School. He was excited to get up and go every morning. I won’t do a full recap because I don’t want to share other kids’ faces on here without permission, so I will just share a few that are okay.

Liam loved the construction theme!

In case you missed it, here’s a recap of this week on the blog…
