Lazy Acres Pumpkin Patch
Did someone say pumpkin patch? Everyone knows my favorite season is FALL. I like to decorate at the end of August because by that time I am completely over a Mississippi summer. Pumpkins make it all better, am I right? We try to celebrate Fall in September and October with my annual Fall O’Fun so we can celebrate Christmas for the months of November and December. Now, for all you haters, we most definitely still celebrate Thanksgiving – we just do it with a 12′ Christmas tree in the room!
This year’s Fall O’Fun was not nearly as eventful as years past due to our frequent trips to the cancer center in Texas, but I made sure we worked in two pumpkin patches for Liam. Today we’re going to recap our fun at Lazy Acres!
How is my two year old this tall already?!
Daddy looks thrilled, doesn’t he?
If he could have carried ten pumpkins in his arms, he would have. He scouted out his favorites and wanted them all!
The jumping pad is probably Liam’s favorite attraction at Lazy Acres.
We rode a mini train with Uncle T…
And all 5 of us, including Pop and Daddy, rode the wagon around the farm. (Again, doesn’t Daddy look thrilled? He just doesn’t get my enthusiasm for all things pumpkin!)
I would love to have locked my brother up like this a long time ago…!
He’s a good sport with his favorite nephew though!

We were having so much fun that I didn’t take a lot of photos this year. We are so thankful to have this fun pumpkin patch right in our neighborhood. Our good friends from church own this family farm, and it is one of their ways of sharing the Gospel with the community. Thank you May Family!
*We went to Lazy Acres in 2020, but it rained so hard we ate and left so I don’t have any pictures. But – if you’d like to see Baby Bounds’s first trip to the LA pumpkin patch in 2019, you can find it here!
