Road Trip Part 2

Thank you all so much for your kind words after sharing part one of my Mommy and Me Road Trip with Liam! It really was the best time. Today I’m sharing a few more days of our trip with you. Let’s get started!

Our second full day led us to the Children’s Museum of Memphis. I really enjoyed this museum more than all of the others Liam and I have visited.

The grocery shopping area was fantastic. Each item had real barcodes, and when you took your groceries to check out, they were scanned. Each item was rung up and a printed receipt was given to the child. It was all sponsored by Kroger and so neat!

Liam was fascinated by the dentist office.

There’s my country boy milking a cow!

He really enjoyed the auto shop.

I wish I could show you the video of him boogeying down in the disco hall!

The life-size tinker toys were super cool too!

We met up with Uncle Greg and Aunt Laura for a little playground fun.

We also stopped by and visited Liam’s great-great aunt he had never met.

Liam loved her!

He also fell in love with a cousin who came to visit him – Courtney!

He met and bonded with so many new people on this trip. So sweet!

We checked out a cool park with a splash pad in Collierville and had the best time!

I got the biggest kick out of him trying to lift this turtle.

A big treat for him on this trip was a stop at the Build a Bear factory where he got to make a monkey!

The helper at the store did the coolest activities with him. She was so good with toddlers!

After our three days in Memphis, we headed south back into MS and began the second leg of our journey. We stopped and met some more great-great aunts and uncles in Oxford.

By the time we got to our hotel in Tupelo, Little Man was tired and ready for bed!

Gosh, I just love my baby boy so much!

I could probably share another 50 photos, but I think I will save them for another post. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
